Welcome to Santa Maria Council 1443. We meet first and third Mondays of every month, at our hall. We are located in Haddon Township, NJ at 350 Crystal Lake Avenue.

The council hall is available for rent at reasonable

Council History

Santa Maria Council was founded in 1909 in Haddon Heights, N.J. through the efforts of sixty local Catholic men. It is named after the Mother of Our Lord, the Patron Saint of the Camden Diocese.

For almost forty years, the council based its operations in a residential home converted into a club house at 209 White Horse Pike in Haddon Heights. Ownership of the home was made possible from the generosity of a charter member, Michael D. Manning and his wife. The current council home, in Haddon Township was dedicated in September 1955.

Santa Maria Council is proud to be the home council of:

• Past State Deputy (1944-1946) Robert H. Rabe  (deceased)
• Past State Deputy (1996-1998) Joseph M. Cummings, KGHS
• Supreme Director Reginald F. Beckett, KC*HS, PSD

The Council works in the following parishes:

• Church of the Holy Savior in Westmont, N.J.
• Holy Maternity Church in Audubon, N.J.
• St. Aloysius Church in Oaklyn, N.J.
• St. John's Church in Collingswood, N.J.
• St. Rose of Lima Church in Haddon Heights, N.J.
• St. Vincent Pallotti Church in Haddon Township, N.J.

Upcoming Events

Please Bring in to the council any canned food for our Hunger Harvest Food Drive, we are also currently in need of Hams for the Christmas Delivery. Please call Pat Cummings (856)-383-6220 for any information or if you know of someone in need of a basket.
