Nocturnal Adoration

Nocturnal adoration will be held at = St Rose of Lima Chapel on Green Street on 1/3/08, the night before the fir= st Friday in January at 8:00PM.

   = We will be moving to St. Rose for the months of January, February and March. A decision will be made before April on whether we continue there or move back to St. John.

Free Throw Contest

The annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest will be held on Saturday January 12th at St. Rose of Lima Sch= ool gym. Registration begins at 12:00 = PM and the contest will start at 12:30 PM. Pro-Life News

Parish captains are scheduling the “Roses for Life” sales. The proceeds from these sales help to fund transportation to the March for Life in Washington DC. The March is T= uesday January 22, 2008 and the Council will provide transportation. The bus will = fill quickly so please reserve a seat with PGK Mark Kiernan if you are planning to go.

Teen Dance

ools
Week with our annual teen dance to be held at Santa Maria Council. All 7th} and 8^th grade students from Holy Saviour, St. John’s and St Rose of Lima schools are invited. Spread the word and save the date for a f= un evening of dance and refreshments from 7-10 PM.

Championsh= ip Sunday

The annual NFC/AFC Championship Sund= ay party will be held on January 20, 2007 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Tickets are $30.00. Vocation Prayer Service

The Prayer Service for Vocations will be held on Sunday January 13^th at the Council. The Service will consist of a few short readings; a meditation and= we will pray the Rosary. Don’t let the teens have all the fun!

Sisters= 217; Appreciation Night

On February 23^rd, Santa M= aria Council will host the Sisters of the area at our 35^th Annual Sisters’ Appreciation Dinner, 6:30= PM at the Council Hall. The sisters will have dinner, receive gifts from the Council membership and enjoy a fun-filled evening. What a small token of our gratitud= e for all the work the Sisters do in our Communities.
