Membership News

Nocturnal Adoration

The council’s next       Noct= urnal Adoration hour at St. John’s in Collingswood is scheduled for Thursday, September 6^th at 8:00 PM. Please make every effort= to join your brothers for this Santa Maria tradition.

Bunco= Night

The = Ladies Auxiliary will host the 3^rd annual Bunco Night on Saturday Novem= ber 10^th. Please call 856 547-2290 for tickets.

Ladies Auxiliary

The Ladies meet on the 2^nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30= PM at the Council Hall. Please encourage your wife or daughters to join this group of ladies. Call Debbie (856) 858-5357 for more information.

Reminder…

When a family member dies, please ask the funeral director to publish that in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to S= anta Maria Council 1443, located at 350 Crystal Lake Avenue, Hadd= on Township, NJ 08033. This will= help us with our many charitable endeavors.

Mass and Communion Breakfast

Please join us on November 25^th to remember our deceased brothers at a = mass in their memory at St Vincent

Pallotti Church. Mass will= be at 8:30 AM and a Communion Breakfast will follow at= the Council Hall. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under the= age of 12. Please ask your families to join us. Contact DGK Mike Weig= lein (546-1794) for additional information

Council Alzheimer’s Drive

The Hoagies are Back

Don’t forget to stop by the Council on Saturday, November 17th to purchase your hoagie. Sales start at 10:00 AM. Hurry, th= ey go fast! Orders can be placed in advance. Contact Jack Shuster 858-6664 for information. “Nobody can beat a Santa Maria hoagie!” Cost is $3= .00

Second Degree Exemplification=

San= ta Maria Council will be hosting a Second Degree Exemplification on Tuesday November 27th. For more information, contact DD John Erwin

Council Christmas Party

The council will have a Council Sing-a-long part= y on December 7^th.

Knight of the Year

T= he Columbus Day Social on Saturday October 20th was a time to reflect on the ideals of our Order. Here at Santa Maria we have been serving the community= for 98 years. I would like to congratulate Freddy Guarnieri on being named Knig= ht of the Year. Congratulations Freddy!

A v= ery big thank you goes out to our Hoagie Team for another outstanding sale and making of our now famous hoagies. There are many membe= rs who participate in this event and the Council thanks them for their time and talent. We also thank the Ladies Auxiliary for their help.

Columbus Day Social

Special thanks from DGK Mike Weiglein to all who worked so hard to help put togethe= r a very successful ad book and Columbus Day Social. Thank you to the house committee, = the ad solicitors and everyone who assisted in making this happen.
